It never ceases to amaze me…

… the colour’s that are trapped in this land. Look closer still and bits of this country starts to tell you stories of the elements it’s had to weather and the pressures it’s had to face.  This land sings out – loud and clear – a plethora of stories, but it needs you to stop and listen – stop and observe.

But hey – why don’t you mob make up your own mind…

Where'd all the red go..?

Ron out bush6

Ah - there it is...

Ron out bush7

Nothing like a little pressure right?

... and again...

... and THIS - is where we finished up!

So – have I convinced you yet? All of that – in the one little trip – from the top, all the way down! Can you guess where it is yet?

If you had any doubt at all – you could just ask this little fella…

Ron out bush10

All of about 3cm's (over an inch) across - and chock-full of colour!

Now for the life of me, why this little critter would need such amazing colouring is beyond me. This fella is active – only at night! Doesn’t that just blow you away…

… see what I mean – open your eyes up people – it’s amazing how much you’re missing!

Belongum – Out!

About Belongum

People bring 'things' to me. Not necessarily PHYSICAL things as such - mostly just the loose bits and pieces floating around in their 'brain-box'. Sometimes, they also bring themselves - and THAT isn't anywhere near as simple as it sounds. I come here to pass some of this 'brain-box business' on to the ether world, and to empty my head. Besides folks - I love a good yarn - so come and join me!

Oh yes, I think it might be the exact spot I'm thinking… http://www.flickr.com/photos/simonevh/3741049803/in/set-72157621131151940/

Haha… I knew you’d have no probs Simone… Fern Pool it is. She’s a nice gentle walk in – but you could easily fall if you weren’t being mindful. Ouch! Lovely spot – and it’s a spinout how the colour’s change with the shifting sun! I’m going back soon… got to finish some more work up Tom Price way… yay!

By the way, been meaning to say for a while, when you comment inside other people’s comments, we don’t get the notifications we sign up for (an email when someone replies to the post after you). 🙂
